Department Overview
Rutherford County Fire-Rescue is a growing, full-time department serving the unincorporated areas of Rutherford County and several surrounding service areas outside the county’s cities. The agency operates from multiple stations and has built its fleet around capable, professional-grade apparatus for the broad range of incidents it supports.
Community & Response
Rutherford County’s response environment spans rapidly developing areas, rural roadways, open land, long-driveway access, and interface conditions. This Model 1 was configured to give the department a compact but highly capable initial-attack unit—one that can operate effectively with limited staffing while providing water, foam, hose deployment, and equipment access where larger apparatus cannot easily go.
