Department Overview
This completed Ridgehound Model 1 demo is headed to the MES Life Safety apparatus dealership in Waterford, Connecticut, where it will support departments throughout the Northeast. Built as a fully equipped demonstration and available apparatus, it gives agencies the opportunity to see the Model 1 platform, equipment layout, and fire-service systems in person.
Community & Response
Configured for broad wildland and all-hazards response, this Model 1 combines meaningful onboard water, diesel pump performance, off-road mobility, protected storage, and organized hose deployment in a compact apparatus. It is well suited for departments managing vegetation fires, wildland-urban interface risk, rural response, mutual aid, and extended incident operations.
